Views from Saint Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg | Russia
Saint Petersburg in Russia is truly an amazing city, the historical city centre constitute a UNESCO World Heritage Site, just walking around its impossible not to admire the variety and diverse architecture of the many famous buildings, among them one of the most iconic ones is the Saint Isaac's Cathedral that you can see in the photo below.The cathedral is the largest Russian Orthodox Cathedral in the city, it was ordered by the Tsar Alexander and it took 40 years to construct, it was finalized in 1858. The Cathedral's main dome is plated in gold and it rises 333ft, the following photographs were made from the exterior of the dome that it is open to the public, I spent a couple of hours there as the vistas are incredible.That's all for now, more coming soon...
