The Trashigang Tsechu Festival is a feast for the senses, with vibrant colors, intricate details, and beautiful landscapes that create a stunning backdrop for photography. As a travel photographer, I was drawn to the festival for its unique cultural significance and the incredible photo opportunities it presents. For this trip, I decided to use the Fujifilm GFX 100s medium format camera, which allowed me to capture incredibly detailed images with incredible dynamic range. One of the most striking things about the festival was the intricate costumes worn by the performers. It was a challenge to capture the essence of these costumes and their details, but I found that the GFX 100s performed admirably in capturing every last detail.
