New Orleans Skyline

I am back from a weekend in New Orleans, just shooting around the city, it was the first Mardi Gras weekend of 2014 and it was packed.

The idea was to capture as much as I could from the city and of course the street action and festivities, I wish I had more time, but there is always a next time and at the end I happy with some of the stuff I got.

Nikons stayed at home… just brought the Fuji X-E2 with a couple of lenses, including the 55-200 and the 23mm 1.4, and the thing is that I love the X system more and more, can’t wait to receive the X-T1, and from now on these 2 will make the perfect travel duo….

I have lots of material to process, but I wanted to share a couple of photos of the New Orleans skyline taken from the east bank of the Mississippi river in Algiers Point.

I couldn’t decided from these two photos, I like them both…

I’ll have more photos from New Orleans and the Mardi Gras action coming soon, as always for licensing information and prints just click in the photos.
