Highlights of Bucharest | Romania

Just back from a week in Romania, spent most of the time wandering around Bucharest; having more time in one place instead of jumping from city to city makes you get to know it better and make friends, and to keep the story short, this is a country I really want to return…. hope to do that soon. I want to see more of the countryside, the region of Transylvania and the Black Sea.

Here in this post, I share some of the most well-known places and also some very interesting finds; at least for me, the city is full of contrasts, a good mix of historical neoclassical buildings along with Art Deco, modern and Communist-era architecture. I’ll do a separate post for the Palace of Parliament and another one on street photography soon.

That’s all for now… more to come soon….
