North India | 40 Travel Photos That Will Make You Want to Visit Now

I just finished processing most of the photos from the past India Photo Tour. It took some time, but invariably, my post-processing falls behind. Between trips, planning tours, and everyday errands, working on the images always seems to be pushed back.

Nevertheless, now, with everything finished, I just wanted to share some of the photos that are more appealing to me. It's just a set of 40 photographs made during the tour. I decided not to comment or do a story because most of these have already been shared and documented from previous trips to North India, and my sentiments are the same. You can see the prior posts here.

The photos are from Delhi, Agra, Dechu, Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Pushkar. Basically, it’s a collection of my favorite images from the tour I co-led for Digital Photo Mentor. I am leaving out Varanasi, which I did as an extension and I will share in a separate post. There is a caption for every photo, so you know where it was made and what it concerns.

I said I was not going to write a story, but I do love India. It’s an excellent place for photography, and the people are very welcoming. It is probably the best country to practice "people photography" if you are shy when approaching subjects. So here are the images, and if you like what you see, don't forget to comment.

It certainly was a fantastic trip, and I can't wait to go back. My next photo tour and trip to India will be this coming October of 2019. Once again, I'll be leading a small group. If you are interested, there is still time to join me. Check out the details here.

Lastly, most of the photos for this trip were made with the Fuji GFX 50s. I also had with me the X-T3, which I mainly used when I needed a long reach and in some of the portraits.

That's all for now. I hope you enjoyed the photographs. For licensing information and prints, click here.
