Photo Tour India | November 26 – December 5th 2018

Join me on a 10 day photography tour and expedition to Rajasthan in Northern India.

By popular demand, I’ve added a second tour to India in November 2018, I’ll be leading a tour in Rajasthan for a group of 10 as part of one the upcoming Digital Photo Mentor Tours. This will be my second time in India and I can’t wait to go back to the locations and places I scouted for you last year.. I truly had an amazing time there, the opportunities for photography are just fantastic. Some of my 2016 experiences and photos can be found here.

This is the shorter version of our popular photo tour of India. This tour of India takes the photographer from bustling Delhi, straight to the heart of North India. Locations including Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Abhaneri. Rajasthan, land of Rajputs and Maharajas, an epic photo adventure to fairytale palaces, magnificent forts, and of course dizzying street markets.

This adventure is designed to guide you to the most stunning locations. The tour is open to all levels of photographic skills, from beginner to experienced. However, there will be no formal workshops or critiques. We will share knowledge and skills along the way, in the spirit of true adventurers.

Created by photographers for photographers and includes locations, not on any other tour.

While we’re making our way back to Delhi on this final day of our photo tour of India, we’ve arranged a stop in Abhaneri to visit Chand Baori stepwell, built by Kind Chanda during the Chauhan Dynasty. In a word, it’s amazing. The design and structure of the stepwell was intended to conserve as much water as possible. The bottom of the well is 5-6 degrees cooler than at the top and it was used as a filming location for Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and The Dark Knight Rises. A sight not to be missed. After arriving safely back in Delhi, you’ll have an opportunity to wash and change before our last dinner together. Finally, after dinner and good-byes, you’ll be transferred to the airport for our flight home. You can certainly choose to stay for a time in India on your own if you’ve made other arrangements.
There are no accommodations booked for this day, so if you’re staying on in India, you’ll have to make sure you’ve got a place to stay ahead of time.
